Pool level changes while refill is unattended
Check existing records for refill activity and maintenance visits. Pool loss can involve refill and evaporation.
An unattended refill can hide the level history
A pool that appears full when an owner returns may have received water during the absence. Existing refill and maintenance records help explain that observation without asking someone to change unfamiliar equipment. A stable level at one moment does not establish whether the system has been losing water.
Separate refill operation from the leaking component
Ask whether the assessment addresses refill behavior and the pool’s loss separately. If the available history cannot establish the amount or location of loss, have that limitation recorded. A refill correction and a repair to the shell or a circulation section should each have a finding that supports its inclusion.
Separate pool testing from pool repair
Ask how the assessment separates refill masking from a genuine loss in the pool system. Confirm whether the visit provides test findings, a repair proposal or both.
