Irrigation and drinking water have different source controls
Name each source only where documentation supports it. Landscape wetness can involve a line, valve or sprinkler component.
Keep the source controls distinct
Where records establish different household and irrigation supplies, provide each arrangement accurately without borrowing assumptions from neighboring properties. A household flow observation may not describe the irrigation circuit. The zone schedule and documented source make the inquiry more useful than treating all water use as one system.
Confirm acceptance of the actual irrigation arrangement
Ask which source, zone and component the proposed assessment can address and who may authorize its controls. If the arrangement is outside the accepted scope, identify that before booking. A confirmed sprinkler, valve or line finding should support repair work, with separate household plumbing left outside the conclusion unless it was actually assessed.
Identify the irrigation zone and supply
Ask whether the recipient accepts the actual irrigation arrangement and how zone testing will avoid confusing the two systems. The zone, supply type and watering cycle help define testing.
