A zone continues to wet an area after watering ends
Report the timing and which valves or circuits are documented nearby. Landscape wetness can involve a line, valve or sprinkler component.
Document when watering ended and wetness continued
Use the known schedule and existing observations to describe a zone remaining wet after its cycle. That sequence warrants attention without proving a broken line. A valve continuing to pass water and another nearby operating circuit are different possibilities, while the surface alone may not identify the component.
Match the accepted scope to the controls and supply
Ask whether the assessment includes the zone’s control components as well as its line. If the evidence points to continued flow through a valve, a line-only proposal needs an explanation. Before repair, request the identified component, needed authorization and any landscape access rather than assuming all persistent wetness requires excavation.
Identify the irrigation zone and supply
Ask whether the accepted scope includes both the zone supply and its control components. The zone, supply type and watering cycle help define testing.
