The spa drops while the main pool appears stable
Record the two water levels separately and the operating configuration if already known. Pool loss can involve refill and evaporation.
Track the spa and pool as separate observations
A falling spa level alongside an apparently stable pool is a useful distinction, especially when the known operating configuration is recorded. It does not identify a failed component by itself. Keep refill information with both observations rather than assuming that one stable surface proves all connecting equipment is sound.
Ask whether the connecting circuit was considered
The assessment should explain whether its finding concerns the spa, a connection between features or another tested section. If operating arrangements are unknown, record that limitation. A repair proposal aimed only at the main pool needs a reason when the reported symptom is a change in the spa.
Separate pool testing from pool repair
Ask whether the test distinguishes the spa circuit from the main pool. Confirm whether the visit provides test findings, a repair proposal or both.
