The pool loses water while equipment is idle
Record the water level and whether the pool pump or refill was operating. Pool loss can involve refill and evaporation.
Idle equipment does not settle the cause
Water loss while equipment is idle is worth reporting alongside the dates, refill activity and water-level record. It does not by itself distinguish evaporation, a fitting, the shell or another connection. Keep those observations together rather than deciding that a buried circulation line must be the answer.
Know what the assessment leaves untested
Ask which pool components the agreed evaluation includes and which conditions the reported result describes. If circulation lines were not assessed, a finding about the shell should not stand in for that missing work. The repair proposal should identify its supporting finding and whether access around the pool is required.
Separate pool testing from pool repair
Ask whether the test separates shell, fittings and buried circulation lines rather than assuming evaporation or a pipe break. Confirm whether the visit provides test findings, a repair proposal or both.
