Water loss after the pool refill setting changed
Keep the refill setting, water-level observations and operating schedule together. Pool loss can involve refill and evaporation.
A refill setting is part of the evidence
A changed refill setting can alter how noticeable pool loss becomes. An apparently stable water level does not settle the issue if water is continually being added. Preserve the maintenance record and the setting history already available; do not change unfamiliar controls solely to manufacture a comparison.
Distinguish a setting correction from a leak repair
Ask whether the finding concerns the refill equipment, the pool itself or a circulation line. Those lead to different work proposals. A refill adjustment should not be presented as proof that every other circuit is sound, and any assessment left incomplete should be named before further repairs are agreed.
Separate pool testing from pool repair
Ask whether refill behavior can conceal ongoing loss and which pool sections the proposed test covers. Confirm whether the visit provides test findings, a repair proposal or both.
